History

The Nutrition and Dietetics Turkish Program, which offers students professional education opportunities with a contemporary approach and education quality in line with international standards, began accepting students in the 2012-2013 academic year. Our department graduated its first cohort in the 2015-2016 academic year, and in the same year, the Nutrition and Dietetics English Program also started accepting students. In the 2016-2017 academic year, the Non-Thesis Master's Program in the Nutrition and Dietetics Department was established within the Istanbul Gelisim University Graduate Education Institute. Furthermore, the Thesis Master's Program in Nutrition and Dietetics was introduced in the 2024-2025 academic year.

In the 2017-2018 academic year, our Nutrition and Dietetics Turkish Program and English Program was fully accredited by AHPGS (Accreditation Agency in the Area of Health and Social Sciences), and continues to provide education at international standards.
