Message of the Head of Department

Dear Master students and prospective students,

 

Istanbul Gelişim University Graduate Education Institute Audiology Department started education in 2019-2020. The Department of Audiology continues its studies without slowing down with the energy it receives from its students and its competent faculty staff, high-level application laboratory and research facilities.

 

Having a master's degree in Audiology, which is an important field in the health sector, provides opportunities for health professionals who plan and perform the rehabilitation of hearing and balance disorders, hearing aids, cochlear implants and other assistive devices, and the rehabilitation of hearing and balance disorders. It is an important stage to expand.

 

The science of audiology is in a mutual relationship and interaction with many disciplines and disciplines, and this is reflected in the content of the education. Audiology, which covers many sciences from medicine to psychology, from education to sociology, is also available as a theoretical and applied department in postgraduate education. In this direction, our current education provides opportunities for health professionals who adopt the protection of hearing health as the first goal, take an active role in the diagnosis, rehabilitation and follow-up of hearing diseases, and contribute to the improvement of life quality by removing obstacles. The main goal is to acquire new professional experiences by adopting ethical values, open to improvement and solution-oriented work as a principle.

 

As a healthcare professional, it is our greatest wish to see healthcare professionals who care about the sense of peace and professional satisfaction that clinical and scientific contribution to human health will bring, and who have aimed academic development.
