Res. Asst. Ayten Bengisu Cansever from Istanbul Gelişim University Fine Arts Faculty Communication and Design Department, who took part in the preliminary evaluation of the films, evaluated the TAYF International Short Film Festival as follows:

“Our TAYF International Short Film Festival, which started on November 20, 2021, attracted a lot of attention and we, the front juries, had a lot of work. We actually rated each movie by watching and discussing it in detail. It was a very intense but enjoyable process. Our finalist films were films that we met with all the preliminary juries on a common point and believed to be truly successful. Now all eyes are on the Gala night, which will take place on February 27.

Res. Asst. Büşra Kamacıoğlu, a member of the preliminary jury, from the Department of Communication and Design of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Istanbul Gelişim University, expressed her views on the pre-evaluation process of the TAYF International Short Film Festival as follows:

“There was a lot of interest in the TAYF International Short Film Festival. Film applications from various countries, different ages and professions, and various themes were received. It was a very enjoyable process to watch and evaluate the films. Ten films from each category were selected as finalist films and successful films were presented to the jury. Each of the preliminary juries made their evaluations in a very objective and transparent environment. I am happy to be involved in such a process. We are all excited to see the award-winning films at the gala night.”

After the evaluation of the finalist films by the festival jury, the first three films to be awarded will be announced at the award ceremony to be held on the night of February 27.
