Following the start of the 2023-2024 academic year, the Communication and Design Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU) held an orientation meeting for new first-year students.
The meeting took place in Classroom 358 of Block J at Istanbul Development University. The event began with an opening speech by the Head of Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Aslı Kasar provided information to the students about the goals and vision of the Communication and Design Department.
After Asst. Prof. Dr. Aslı Kasar's speech, Research Assistant Ayten Bengisu Cansever took the floor and Cansever provided detailed information to the students about university and department guidelines, regulations, curriculum, courses, exams, and attendance, aiming to help the students successfully continue their education.
The meeting concluded with an interactive session to answer students' questions and address their concerns.
The Communication and Design Department continues to warmly welcome new students and prepare them for their academic journey with a wealth of information.
