Our department should develop courses and projects that highlight topics such as digital media, media production, and artificial intelligence to prepare students to meet the requirements of this digital age. Particularly, studies in AI-supported design will not only foster creativity from an artistic standpoint but also offer solutions for industrial applications.
Sustainability and Social Responsibility:
Future communication and design professionals must operate with sustainability and social responsibility in mind. Our department should provide education that not only equips students with aesthetic and technical skills but also helps them assess their environmental and social impacts. Principles of sustainable design, material selection, production processes, and consumption habits should be addressed. This way, students can produce more sustainable solutions for their future projects, considering their environmental and social impacts.

The Department of Communication and Design at Istanbul Gelişim University's Faculty of Fine Arts aims to graduate well-equipped and future-ready professionals in the fields of communication and design by focusing on areas such as digitization, artificial intelligence, sustainability, and creativity.
