The “Acting Workshop” organized by the Art & Communication Design Student Club, which aims to encourage students to work in the field before they graduate, to gather students from different departments from creative disciplines under one roof, to create a "communication design" culture together and to produce new projects thanks to this cooperation, actor Erdem With the participation of Yılmaz, it took place on 30 December 2022 at 13.00 in IGU B Block Studio with intense participation.
The workshop, where there was an intense participation, was held with the participation of Erdem Yılmaz, an actor who is known for various TV series and films such as Aşkın Bedeli (2013), Uzun Yol (2014), Alın Yazım (2015), Seni Kimler Aldı (2017), Kardeş Çocukları (2019), Kulyas: Lanetin Bedeli (2019), Sen Çal Kapımı (2020), Kırık Hayatlar (2021), who is an active actor in both cinema and theater.

In the workshop, which was held with actor Erdem Yılmaz, who is on the way to become one of the popular names of the last period, a conversation was held with the moderation of lecturer Ahmet Bikic. Actor Erdem Yılmaz stated that the path to his acting career was laid in his childhood and said, “I was a hyperactive and mischievous child, and I was not very successful at school. My mom and dad used to send me to events so that I could throw out my extra energy. First they sent me to football, but I became the worst ball player in the world. Then, after basketball, piano, guitar, I went to the theater last. I was stuck in the theater who couldn't be incapable of holding anything. I say there is something different here. That's when I decided to do this job."
Indicating that his family always supports him in addition to his passion for acting that started in his childhood, Yılmaz said that "whatever a person does, he fails when he doesn't like his job. That's why doing what you love is what brings success."
Finally, Yılmaz stated that different directors add a different perspective to the actors. Yılmaz said, "Perhaps the actors in Nuri Bilge Ceylan's film show their highest performance in those films. Every actor wants to work with a director who pushes his/her own limits."
At the end of the event, a plaque was presented to actor Erdem Yılmaz by Lecturer Ahmet Bikic.
