Bengiz Özdereli, one of Turkey's most important underwater filmmakers, was hosted in the "Come Tell Me About My Job" Events series, organized by Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU) Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF) Communication and Design Department and moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nagihan Çakar Bikiç.
The third event of "Come and Tell About My Job", which was organized for our students to meet with the leading representatives of the sector and to follow the sector's works closely, was held on Monday, October 25 at 11:30 at the conference hall of the Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF) of Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU). Underwater filmmaker Bengiz Özdereli, one of the founders of the International Marmara Underwater Festival, who was the guest of the "Come Tell About My Job" event, started taking underwater photographs in 1992. After a while, he saw that moving images could explain the underwater better, and decided to shoot it on video.
Underwater Film Producer Bengiz Özdereli gave sectoral and technical information about underwater filmmaking in his talk on "Underwater Film Production". In addition, Mr. Özdereli made the participants watch works from his own filmography.
Bengiz Özdereli answered the questions from the students at the end of his speech. In addition, Mr. Bengiz Özdereli gave some important advice to our students regarding the field.
We would like to thank Mr. Bengiz Özdereli and all our guests for their participation.
