Scheduled to take place on November 4-5-6, 2025, the three-day festival aims to bring film enthusiasts together. The festival seeks to support high school students preparing for university in their short film productions while also contributing to the development of fiction, experimental, animation, and documentary cinema. With the theme "FutureScope", the event aims to raise awareness by bringing together filmmakers from both Turkey and abroad.
Istanbul Gelişim University has created a platform for high school students to express themselves through short films as part of the festival. Films submitted by high school students will be evaluated separately, and awards will be given in the following categories:
Best Fiction Film
Best Documentary Film
Best Animation Film
While the university organizes a special competition for high school students, it has also created a separate category for independent filmmakers who participate in the collective production process of cinema worldwide. This means that international applications will also be accepted.
The festival will evaluate films in two different categories: international filmmakers and high school students. The awards to be presented are as follows:
Best International Fiction Film – 15,000 TL
Best International Documentary Film – 15,000 TL
Best International Animation Film – 15,000 TL
Best High School Fiction Film – 15,000 TL
Best High School Documentary Film – 15,000 TL
Best High School Animation Film – 15,000 TL
