Starting from his educational journey and the process of stepping into the world of news, Mr. Nedim Bayhan emphasized the importance of a versatile perspective and experience in the conversation with students. For this, he focused on three key points: Find Yourself, Analyze, and Take Action. He stated that focusing on personal development through various interests such as hitchhiking and extensive reading is an important initial step to finding oneself in a journalism career.
Bayhan highlighted that analytical skills, awareness, and teamwork are other crucial factors in journalism. He explained to students that determination and perseverance are essential when facing challenges in entering the industry. While describing the profession of reporting, Bayhan also delved into his personal experiences, emphasizing the importance of working under challenging conditions, controlling emotions, and being ready to cover news at any moment. He emphasized that journalism is not just about looking good on television but is also a demanding profession that requires hard work.
