 Faculty of Fine Arts Run for Children!


In the second stage of the social responsibility project "We Make Children's Dreams Come True with a Make-a-Wish" organized in cooperation with Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FAF) and Make-a-wish, the 6 November N Kolay Istanbul Marathon was run for children.


In the marathon event, which is the second stage of the social responsibility project, which set out with the aim of realizing the wishes of children struggling with life-threatening diseases and thus strengthening their feelings of hope, resilience and joy, Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts academics  an students and Make-a-wish team ran together. During the forty-fourth marathon this year, donations were collected to make children's dreams come true. In addition, N Kolay Istanbul Marathon, the only intercontinental marathon, aimed to raise awareness as a single voice in cooperation with Istanbul Gelisim University Faculty of Fine Arts & Make-a-wish.

Making Wishes The Greatest Happiness

The event, which constitutes the second phase of the project, which was conducted by Res .Asst. Ayten Bengisu Cansever, Res. Asst. Eliz Mutlu, Res. Asst. Tuğçe Öztürk and Res. Asst. Mustafa Dallı, started from Altunizade and ended in Dolmabahçe. Res .Asst. Ayten Bengisu Cansever expressed her views on the marathon event by saying, “The sense of awareness created by steps, sharing and participation and the wishes to be realized in this way are the greatest happiness”. Aslı Battal Özer, from the Make-a-wish team, said about the project organized in cooperation with Istanbul Gelişim University Fine Arts Faculty, “There was a huge family on the bridge today. We were so happy, so proud that it is indescribable. You have added strength to our strength with your presence and rushed to goodness with us”.
