The 5th Siirt International Short Film Festival, whose film applications are still ongoing, will be held on 15 – 18 November 2022, hosted by Siirt Governorship and Siirt Municipality. Siirt Short Film Festival, directed by Ahmet Bikic; It is organized to support short film productions and producers, to increase the visibility of the works, and to bring together filmmakers from abroad and at home. Short films made in 2020, 2021 and 2022, not exceeding 25 minutes, are accepted in four different categories: fiction, experimental, animation and documentary. THE FESTIVAL IS EXPECTED TO HOST 35,000 PARTICIPANTS
Siirt International Short Film Festival, which was held for the first time in 2018, is met with great interest by both the local people and the surrounding people every year. Siirt International Short Film Festival, which will be held for the fifth time this year, is expected to host a total of 35,000 participants.

The 5th Siirt International Short Film Festival includes both the front jury members, the main jury members and the festival team, experts in their fields and powerful names known in the industry. In this context, Assoc. Dr. Esennur Sirer, Producer – Screenwriter Esra Kaya, Academician – Cinematographer Assoc. Dr. Esref Akmese, Assoc. Dr. Nursel Bolat, Assoc. Ozlem Arda, Assoc. Dr. Serhat Erdem, Dr. Batu Anadolu, Dr. Mehmet Ferhat Sonmez and Dr. Ugur Kilinc. The main jury members of the festival are Assoc. Dr. Zuhal Akmeşe Demir, Head of Istanbul IGU, Faculty of Fine Arts, Radio Television and Cinema Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Rabiya Saltık, Director Faysal Soysal and Producer Mehmet Canpolat.
Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts, Communication and Design Department Lecturer and Director Ahmet Bikic is the festival director, the festival director is Baran Mayda, the art director is IGU, Faculty of Fine Arts, Communication and Design Department student Hande Pala, social media Its management is Hazal Çiçeksever and its translations are Istanbul Gelişim University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (English) Department Research Assistant Mustafa Dallı.

The 5th International Siirt Short Film Festival is held with the contributions of the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the General Directorate of Cinema, the Governorship of Siirt, Siirt Municipality, Siirt University, Istanbul Gelişim University and Medya Arketip.
It is planned to award short films at the 5th Siirt International Short Film Festival, which is supported by many important institutions, especially the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey and the General Directorate of Cinema. In this context, it is known that the first prize is 10,000 TL, the second prize is 5,000 TL and the third prize is 3,500 TL.
