2 New TÜBİTAK 2209-A Projects from the Department of Communication and Design!
Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA), Department of Communication and Design, has secured support for two significant projects under the TÜBİTAK 2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program.
The first project to be supported by TÜBİTAK 2209-A is titled "An Examination of Changing Gender Stereotypical Discourses in Advertisements: A Case Study of Atasay," prepared by the students of the Department of Communication and Design, under the academic supervision of Research Assistant Ayten Bengisu Cansever, with contributions from Öykü Can, Zeynep Şevval Şen, and Serra Yavaş. This project analyzes the transformation of gender stereotypes in advertisements through the example of the Atasay brand.
The second project, conducted under the academic supervision of Research Assistant Büşra Kılıç from the Department of Communication and Design and prepared by student Fatih Kerem Vural, is titled "Examination of User Experience Design of Disaster Management Mobile Applications: An Alternative Mobile Application Example." This project aims to evaluate the user experience of disaster management mobile applications in Turkey and examine through an alternative mobile application example.
Both projects have been supported by TÜBİTAK and aim to make significant contributions to the academic field.
