Organized continuously by TÜYAP All Fair Organizations since 1982, the Istanbul Book Fair holds the distinction of being the most established and unrivaled book fair in its field, reaching over half a million visitors and simultaneously being Europe's largest fair to reach readers. In its 40th year, the TÜYAP Istanbul Book Fair, in collaboration with the Turkish Publishers Association, will welcome book enthusiasts at the Beylikdüzü TÜYAP International Fair and Congress Center from October 28 to November 5, 2023.
The "Honorary Guest" of the fair this year is Nermin Abadan Unat, a writer, translator, jurist, sociologist, political scientist, and communication scholar. With hundreds of activities organized within the fair every year, the TÜYAP Istanbul Book Fair creates a grand literary and cultural festival in the city. It was announced that this year, students, teachers, retirees, and disabled individuals will have free admission. The entrance fee for other citizens is set at 20 Turkish Lira.
