TUADER Istanbul Provincial Board Convened Over a Dinner Meeting

The Istanbul Provincial Board of the Tourism Academics Association (TUADER) convened to evaluate its activities for the year 2025. The meeting, held with the participation of academics working in the field of tourism from different universities, was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serdar Egeli, a faculty member of the Department of Tourism Guidance and the Istanbul Provincial Chair of TUADER.

The meeting was also attended by A. Mecid Vergül, a research assistant in the Department of Tourism Guidance, in his capacity as Deputy Coordinator of the Internationalization Committee of the Tourism Education Evaluation and Accreditation Board (TURAK). During the meeting, current developments in the fields of tourism, tourism guidance, and gastronomy were discussed, along with TUADER’s planned activities for 2026. The meeting concluded with the intention to reconvene in 2026 and to further strengthen institutional cooperation.
