Our Cultural Assets Returning to Their Homeland from the USA

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism has been making great efforts recently to return the artifacts smuggled abroad. At the end of this effort, important works were brought back to our country from the USA. A total of 28 works, including coins, goddess figures and idols, began to be exhibited at the meeting held at the Istanbul Archeology Museum. US Ambassador to Ankara Jeff Flake and Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy attended the meeting. Minister Ersoy stated that efforts will continue to bring back the artifacts that have been separated from their own geography.
