Announcement From Ministry for Galata Tower

The comprehensive restoration and renovation works carried out by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism at Galata Tower have been completed. The projects, prepared in accordance with technical analyzes and georadar reports on the reinforced concrete structures added between 1964-1967, were meticulously implemented using modern technologies and under the guidance of expert academics in the field.

The restoration works were carried out with the highest standards of art and science. Thus, Galata Tower, while adding value to our cultural heritage and passing it on from generation to generation, also offers a peaceful environment for its visitors and migratory swifts. The applications carried out by professional mountaineers as part of the works also contributed to the success of the project.

In order to balance the visitor density and offer a comfortable experience, controlled entrances will be allowed with a maximum of 100 people per hour.

Our visitors:

• Visiting hours are between 10:00 - 18:00 every day.
• The entrance fee is determined as 100 TL for adults and 50 TL for students.
