Among the finds, Neolithic ceramics, stone hand axes, dense ceramic samples from the Halaf period as in previous periods, bombs, weapons, Ayyubid coins from the Ottoman period, seal samples and bone needles used in the early period draw attention. In addition, the 2,000-year-old Roman road unearthed was recorded as one of the important finds.
Excavation Director Prof. Dr. İrfan YILDIZ stated that the excavations, which lasted for 330 days with a team of 40 people, will continue in 2022 as of February.
