A meeting regarding the "Karaelmas Tourism Express" was held in Ankara under the chairmanship of Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Nadir Alparslan. During the meeting, it was decided that the "Karaelmas Tourism Express," which will operate from Ankara to Zonguldak, will make its inaugural journey on the 3rd day of Ramadan Bayram, on April 12th. AK Party Karabük Deputy Ali Keskinkılıç stated that this service will mark a significant milestone in railway tourism, following the Eastern Express, and will be heard by tourism professionals domestically and internationally for the first time. Keskinkılıç further mentioned that during the inaugural trip, there will be overnight stays in Safranbolu for two nights within the borders of Karabük province, as well as special stops at the Hadrianopolis Ancient City in Eskipazar and in Yenice district. The train route will serve citizens along the Ankara, Kalecik, Çankırı, Çerkeş, Eskipazar, Yenice, Safranbolu, Filyos, Bartın, Amasra, and finally Zonguldak lines. Keskinkılıç emphasized that this initiative will boost tourism activity in the region, providing an additional source of income for Zonguldak, Karabük, Bartın, and the country's economy as a whole.
