The Contemporary Face of Communication in Public Institutions
The event, hosted by the Department of Public Relations and Publicity, brought together students and one of the leading professionals in the field, Dr. Temel Kılınçlı. In his role at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Kılınçlı shared his insights and experiences on protocol and communication processes within public institutions, addressing both students and faculty members.
Designed to support students’ professional development and to shed light on the practical dimensions of institutional communication, the event included real-life examples of communication practices in public institutions. Kılınçlı discussed topics such as crisis communication management and protocol rules. His presentation, especially tailored for students pursuing public relations, offered valuable guidance and was followed with great interest. Emphasizing the multifaceted nature of communication management, Kılınçlı illustrated the connection between academic theory and practical application through examples.
Having started his career in the healthcare sector, Kılınçlı pursued undergraduate and graduate education across various academic disciplines and has held positions in both public service and academia. He is the author of books such as

Management of Pre-Hospital Emergency Health Services, and he has also produced and hosted programs in the media sector.
