Istanbul Gelisim Universitiy Public Relations and Publicity Department academic staff member Dr. Sarp Bağcan's book chapter titled "Corporate Social Responsibility and its Global Socio-Economic And Political System" has been published.


The book titled Academic Studies in Administrative Sciences, edited by Dr. Davut Karaman and Dr. Ömer Emre Arslan, was published by Livre de Lyon publishing house. In the related book, there is also a book chapter titled "Corporate Social Responsibility and its Global Socio-Economic and Political System" by Sarp Bağcan, a faculty member of Istanbul Gelişim University Public Relations and Publicity Department.

The study in question connects it to an international / global system through the development of corporate social responsibility in history, and brings its formation within the system, especially from the period of emerged of the neoliberalism to period of neoliberalism was on the rise and brings it to the present day which is neoliberalism is debatable. In an environment that emerged / developed in the period after the World War II, especially the regional and global structures produced by the Western capitalist system; Corporate social responsibility, which is a concept between globalizing companies, transnational capital, state-society relations and contradictions, has developed in the context of this tension and interaction. The study tries to clarify and reveal a global socio-economic and political system that is also the shaper of corporate social responsibility at the macro level. The concept has been moved to its present position and situation between the past and the future, in the context of a macro framework, to a point that can provide a forward opening.
