The thesis article titled "Classification of Social Media Influencers According to the Types of Content Shared as a New Classification Study: The Example of YouTube", prepared by Res. Asst. Zeynep Özcan at the Public Relations and Publicity Department of Istanbul Gelişim University, with her thesis advisor, Prof. Nilüfer Sezer, It was published in the Journal of Communication Studies. In the article, Özcan and Sezer considered how social media influencers shaped their posts according to the content concepts they determined and how they continued their sharing. They examined YouTube, the most used social media platform, and social media influencers on YouTube. In line with the analysis, they introduced the classification of social media influencers according to the types of content they shared.
