Analyzing the film which is one of the ten most watched films of Turkish Cinema whose script was directed by Gülse Birsel and directed by Ozan Açıktan, the authors used the method of content analysis and narrative analysis in the article. In the article which consists of brief definitions of the concept of gender, the socialization process of gender, Turkish comedy cinema in the context of gender and the representation of gender roles in the film Aile Arasında it is analyzed the representation of gender roles in the film which is critical of family and honor concepts.
