An event titled "Theoretical to Clinical Case Analysis in Physiotherapy" was organized by the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Faculty of Health Sciences, Istanbul Gelişim University, on Monday, November 13, 2023.

Physiotherapist Özge YILMAZ, a graduate of Istanbul Gelişim University's Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation from 2014 to 2018, was invited to the event as a guest speaker.

The program began with speaker Physiotherapist Özge YILMAZ introducing herself and sharing details about her school life.

Subsequently, the theoretical and practical knowledge acquired over 4 years of coursework was discussed through the analysis of case reports specific to fields such as orthopedic rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, pediatric rehabilitation, and sports physiotherapy and rehabilitation. These cases were presented to the participants with the assistance of relevant equipment.

During the case presentations, participation from students was encouraged to ensure an interactive execution of the event.

Following the case presentations, a question-and-answer session was held to foster participants' identification with the topics, particularly among 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-year students, aiming to help them develop sufficient knowledge and expertise to handle similar cases they may encounter after graduation.

Lastly, Physiotherapist Özge YILMAZ delivered the closing speech addressing the guests in the audience, extending best wishes for success to the students in their academic and post-graduation endeavors. A plaque was presented by the Head of the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Assistant Professor Gülşah KONAKOĞLU. Additionally, students and other faculty members were invited onto the stage for a group photo, marking the end of the event.
