 “9. International Silk Road Film Awards” Found Owners


The "9th International Silk Road Film Awards", organized by the Professional Association of Cinema and Television Work Owners, supported by the "T.R. Ministry of Culture and Tourism, General Directorate of Cinema", found their owners. At the award ceremony held at Atlas 1948 Cinema, awards in the categories of short films, documentaries and animations found their owners.


Orhan Tekeoğlu's documentary Fatma Kayacı's Unknown Story won the National Best Documentary, Best Screenplay, Best Director and Best Cinematography awards in the documentary category. The Best Editing Award went to Zoran Furkan Cömert for his movie Bulak. The Special Jury Award went to Turgay Kural for his movie "Ada'm". The film also won the Best Cinematography award.

At the ceremony, Amil Amal's film Tremble received an award in the Best Fiction Film category. Reza Fathi's Zamharir won the Best Screenplay award, and Mohammed Alimoradi's My Name won the Best Documentary award. Muhammed Furkan Daşbilek received the "International Silk Road Best Director" award for his movie "On the Shore of a River". The Best Animation Award was given to Shokir Kuziboy's film Girl and Cloud. Fiction Special Jury Award was given to Begaly Shibikeyev's The Bird, Fiction Jury Honorable Mention Award, Shraddha Bilwal's Circular Route, Documentary Special Jury Award to Latif Latifsoy's Anya and Documentary Jury Honorable Mention Award to Ahmed Alsammar's The Last Dance.

In the animation category, Emir Aytemur's Scream for Ice won the Best Film award. Emrah Özçelik's film Parallel Evolution won the Best Director award. The Best Animator and Best Screenplay award went to Pimino. Nur Özkaya's film Fish Out of Water won the Jury's Special Award.

“SETEM Labor Award” was given to doyen director and screenwriter Yavuz Turgul.
