Mehmet Oflazoglu was the Founding President of the festival where Asst. Prof. Özlem Tuğçe Keleş from our Radio, Television and Cinema Department was the Festival Director and Res. Asst. Bilge İpek was the Festival Coordinator, while Asst. Prof. Selda Tunç Subaşı from our Radio, TV and Cinema Department became the Main Jury President and Asst. Prof. Güler Canbulat and Asst. Prof. Erdem Türkavcı was the Festival Consultant. The main jury included Radio, TV and Cinema Department Head Asst. Prof. Nisa Gülener Yıldırım, Department Vice President Asst. Prof. Aysun Kaya Deniz and New Media and Communication Department Head Asst. Prof. Eren Efe. On the evening of the award ceremony, Fotofilm gave awards to İİSBF Dean Prof. Dr. Kenan Aydın and Festival Director Asst. Prof. Özlem Tuğçe Keleş for their hosting and contributions.
Students from the Department of Radio, TV and Cinema took part in organizing film screenings and interviews at the festival. This year, 450 films from 55 countries applied to the 5th Fotofilm International Short Film Festival. 85 films earned the right to become finalists. Click
