RePEc (Research Papers in Economics) brings together economists and their affiliated institutions in the online system; presents studies in the field of economics to interested parties. It also ranks economists around the world according to certain criteria. According to the December 2021 report, Istanbul Gelişim University Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences Department of Economics and Finance managed to rank 50th among 234 institutions. In addition, Dr. Festus Victor Bekun, a faculty member from the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, Department of Logistics Management, ranked 84th among 887 authors in Ideas RePEc's all-time ranking of economists in Turkey.
