Head of our Department Assoc. Prof. Remziye Köse Özelçi Became a Jury Member at the 9th Kayseri Golden Sycamore Film Festival and Had a Conversation

The 9th Kayseri Golden Sycamore Film Festival, supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the General Directorate of Cinema, and the Anatolian Filmmakers Association, and organized in cooperation with the Erciyes University Faculty of Communication, took place between 3-6 November. Associate Professor Remziye Köse Özelçi, Head of the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema at the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, became a member of the jury in the National Documentary Film category at the festival and gave an interview titled "The Use of Documentary and Fictional Narrative in Post Memory Transmissions".

In the National Short Film Competition of the festival, Çağıl Bocut received the first prize with the film Brigitte Bardot, Muhammed Furkan Daşbilek received the special award for the film Riverside, Ege Karakurt received the honorable mention with the film Düdük. Neşe Uğur Nohutçu received the best film award in the National Documentary Film Competition with the film Töz. Ersen Çıra received the Jury's Special Award for his film "EDE", A Separation, A Poverty, a Death.
