Golden Boll Film Festival Awards Found
The 29th International Adana Golden Boll Film Festival, held this year, handed out its awards last night. The production "Ela ile Hilmi and Ali", directed by Ziya Demirel, received the award in the best film category. The best actress award was given to Aslıhan Gürbüz and Ece Yüksel for their performances in the films "Tell Me about the Darkness" and "Ela ile Hilmi and Ali". Barış Gönenen won the best actor award for his role in "Çilingir Table".
Meltem Cumbul and Yetkin Dikinciler hosted the festival, which was quite crowded, while Cahit Berkay and Emrah Karaca sang their songs. During the night where he gave a speech at the Metropolitan Mayor Zeydan Karalar, Karalar emphasized that Adana is a city where it has a great contribution to the cinema industry. One of the highlights of the festival was Özcan Alper's speech, who said that no film worthy of the "Yılmaz Güney Award" could be found.
