This year's theme of the film competition, which was prepared with the contributions of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, was announced as "Drug Addiction Through the Eyes of Youth". All students studying at undergraduate and graduate level throughout Turkey can apply for the competition with their works of fiction and documentary.
Applications can be made for fictional and documentary films between 30 seconds and 5 minutes in length, shot in the last 12 months. An important feature of the competition is that each student has the opportunity to apply with a maximum of 3 works. First, second and third place awards will be given in fiction and documentary genres in the competition, and the winner will be the winner of the first 18 thousand TL, the second 13 thousand TL and the third 8 thousand TL in both categories. The owner of the work, which is deemed worthy of the Ministry of Culture Special Award, will be given 18 thousand TL. The owner of the work, who is entitled to receive the "People's Favorite Special Award" through voting on the Green Crescent website, will win a prize of 8 thousand TL.
