Founded by Prof. Dr. Adem Sözüer with the main objective of "creating social impact on justice in the context of human rights and freedoms", the festival first started its activities in 2011. It offers a wide-ranging discussion platform on justice and freedom not only through film screenings but also through scientific events. The deadline to apply for the 14th Crime and Punishment Film Festival, which will take place between November 22-28, is September 1, 2024 at 18:00.
