The Cinema Support Board consisting of 8 people, decided to support 65 projects among 324 documentary film projects that applied for support. Thus, the amount of support provided to the cinema industry by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 2021 reached 48 million.
The Ministry of Culture and Tourism will also provide support in the First Feature Film Production, Feature-Length Cinema Film Production, Co-Production, Post Shooting and Distribution Promotion categories. The deadline for applications for support in these categories has been announced as 30 June. Support applications given under the Law on Evaluation, Classification and Support of Cinema Films No. 5224 will be made via e-devlet web site. The Board will determine the projects it will support in September.
