 28th IFSAK Short Film Festival Has Started


IFSAK (Istanbul Photography and Cinema Amateurs Association) Short Film Festival is taking place at the French Cultural Center between 7-13 March.


There are short films that participated in different festivals from around the world this year in the program where the domestic films that passed the pre-selection in the Short Film and Documentary Competition will be screened. This year, there are over 40 short films from different countries such as France, Greece, Hungary, TRNC, Vietnam, Iran, Egypt, Cuba, Brazil, New Zealand, Norway, Romania and Afghanistan in the international section of the festival.
 
This year's theme of the festival has been determined as Migration. Within the scope of the theme, local and foreign films will be screened and a panel themed "Migration: People Disappearing by Dividing" will take place in the program moderated by M. Emin Önder. In addition, the film "Hopeless" directed by Zehra Yiğit will be screened and the film will be evaluated with the participation of the director. Director Nazlı Elif Durlu and Barış Sarhan will share their experiences from short films to feature films with the audience. In addition, short films by both directors will be included in the program. The festival will end with the award ceremony to be held at the French Cultural Center on Sunday, March 13, 2022.
