The Department of Economics and Finance, within the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences of Istanbul Gelişim University, is one of the departments that attracts the most attention in higher education with its rich curriculum that covers theoretical and current information in fields such as economics, finance, statistics and globalization. The Department of Economics and Finance, which educates qualified individuals who play an active role in the successful management of the economies of both countries and companies, took its first students in the 2013-2014 academic year.

The curriculum of the program has been created in harmony with the ECTS (European Credit Transfer System), which increases cooperation between higher education institutions in Europe and opens the door to international education and experience for students.
