Organized for the first time by the Yıldız Technical University Construction Club, FLOWIND – Floating Wind Turbine Design Competition invites students interested in renewable energy and sustainable engineering to develop innovative solutions.
Within the scope of the competition, participants are expected to design floating offshore wind turbine systems. This process offers a valuable opportunity to apply engineering knowledge to real-world challenges while improving analytical thinking and design skills.
Dates: March 3, 2026 – June 2, 2026
Awards:
• 1st Place: 25,000 TRY
• 2nd Place: 15,000 TRY
• 3rd Place: 10,000 TRY
The competition will be evaluated by a jury of expert academics and aims to enhance participants’ technical competencies as well as their awareness of the energy sector.
