Kerigan began the seminar by asking questions to identify the digital habits of parents. She emphasized the importance of parents’ habits and behaviors on child development and discussed their impact on children. She highlighted how technology should be used with children based on different age groups and then asked parents how many hours they spend using technology daily.
Conducting the seminar interactively with parental participation, Kerigan discussed the types, causes, and possible outcomes of technology addiction. She also shared findings from research conducted in Turkey on children's use of technology. During the presentation, information was provided about recommended technology usage times for different age groups, and examples were shared to guide parents on what actions they could take.
Since parents of both primary school and kindergarten students attended, practical examples for different age groups were shared. The seminar ended with answering questions from participating parents.
