She mentioned that preparation for school is the sum of the relationships, experiences, interactions and bonds that develop starting from birth and even before birth; she stated that as a result of maturation and learning, being ready to perform certain behaviors that the school expects from the child.
ERKAN emphasized that school readiness is not only about the child; stating that schools, family and society contribute to readiness, he pointed out that the responsibility of preparing the child for school should be shared among all stakeholders.
