Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) Has Published The First Inflation Report of 2021

Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) has published the first inflation report of the year 2021.

In the prominent statements in the CBRT Report, the following were recorded:
 
(...)''Domestic demand conditions, cumulative cost effects- in particular the exchange rate-, increasing international food and other commodity prices and high levels of inflation expectations continue to affect the inflation outlook adversely. Consumer inflation overshot the October Inflation Report forecasts. Having remained almost flat around 12% during the first ten months of 2020, consumer inflation increased in the last quarter due to an apparent rise in core goods and food inflation, and stood at 14.60% at the end of the year. .''(...)
