Production reached 4 million cubic meters: 1.5 million households meet their natural gas needs
In his presentation on the budget of his ministry, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar noted the following; 'We have already reached a daily production of approximately 4 million cubic meters from the Sakarya Gas Field. This production meets the natural gas needs of 1.5 million households. 'Last year, 270 billion TL of citizens' electricity and natural gas consumption was covered by the state' 'OUR NATURAL GAS STORAGE FACILITIES PROVIDE A GREAT ADVANTAGE' Our 19 thousand kilometers of transmission and 192 thousand kilometers of distribution natural gas pipelines, 5 LNG facilities including 3 FSRUs, and 2 underground natural gas storage facilities with a storage capacity of 5.8 billion cubic meters provide great advantages in meeting the increasing natural gas demand.
