Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek said that net reserves are in positive territory. He said there was an unprecedented inflow of resources in history. Central Bank reserves have turned positive for the first time since 2020. The Central Bank's net reserves excluding swaps, which were minus 65 billion dollars on March 29, increased to 1.5 billion dollars in the week ending May 31. Thus, while the net reserves of the Central Bank turned positive, this situation pointed to a very strong improvement in net reserves excluding swaps with $66.5 billion in 2 months.
