Organized in collaboration with Istanbul Gelisim University’s Department of Aviation Management and the Aviation Club, the "Sky Bound: Southwind" event featured Southwind Airlines CEO Şükrü Can, who met with students for an inspiring conversation on current developments and future strategies in the aviation industry. The event took place on Friday, October 25, at 11:00 a.m. in the Aziz Sancar Conference Hall, G Block.
Şükrü Can shared valuable insights on industry growth dynamics, innovative practices, and sustainability goals, highlighting the importance of ongoing innovation and rapid developments within aviation. He also discussed Southwind Airlines' contributions to these areas and shared his vision for the future, offering career advice to young students aspiring to enter the field.
During the event, Can addressed questions from the students, providing further perspectives on the development of Turkey’s aviation sector. The Q&A session, which captured the students’ attention, also served as an inspiration to those interested in the field.
