The CEO of Sabiha Gökçen Airport, Berk Albayrak, expressed that this flight draws attention to the presence of women in the sector and is an inspiring example for more women to be present in the aviation sector. Albayrak also stated that with this collaboration, Sabiha Gökçen passengers will be able to benefit from British Airways' wide global route network and expects the SAW-LHR line to contribute greatly to the tourism sector.
