 What Are The Opportunities Of Being An Audiologist In Life?


It is very important for our students to choose the field that will provide the most opportunity for their own development and meet their needs in the most correct way. A healthy choice is made possible by our students knowing and being aware of themselves and the professions they want to choose.


The Audiology department is a new and open department with wide job opportunities, up-to-date scientific studies, and practical application of current developments in the field to patients.
 
Candidates who want to choose the Audiology department are candidates who like to help people, are responsible, have strong empathy skills, are open to lifelong learning, have the ability to perceive details and pay attention, can establish good relations with people, have a high visual and auditory perception, and can use their eyes, ears, and hands simultaneously. Being careful, meticulous, tolerant, and the patient will increase their success in the profession.
 
Audiologists can work in public hospitals, private hospitals, private practice, ENT centers, hearing aid production and sales centers, special education and rehabilitation centers, schools for the hearing impaired, universities and research centers. Our graduates can work in different sectors by obtaining titles such as pediatric audiologist, educational audiologist, clinical and rehabilitation audiologist, industrial audiologist.
 
Hearing and balance problems are common in every region of Turkey, and as a result of this situation, the need for qualified personnel in this field is high.
 
Audiologists who graduated from the department of audiology, perform their profession by playing an active role in gaining competent manpower in the field, identifying the problems in the field of hearing loss and balance disorders, revealing the problems and priorities, and finding solutions to overcome these problems.
 
Production and development of hearing aids and applications for hearing and balance disorders are one of the fields in which audiologists play an important role.
 
Our department graduates can apply to master and doctoral programs for an academic career. There are also opportunities to be a manager depending on the organization you work for.
