The Audiology department is the department that trains individuals who are competent in the early diagnosis of hearing and balance losses and in performing the appropriate treatment with a rehabilitative approach.
Audiology Science is a relatively new science. Therefore, there are wide opportunities to work as an audiologist in private and public institutions. Although it is a new branch of science, it is possible to do a master's and a doctorate in the field of Audiology.
The Department of Audiology has completed its education accreditation. Educational accreditation requires periodic updating of the curriculum, involving students in the educational processes, and taking their opinions on a continuous basis.
As a result of the harmony between the audiology department and the audiology students, a large number of domestic and foreign publications are produced by our department every year. In addition, there are still scientific research projects in progress.
In the fall semester of the 2019-2020 academic year, the first-semester Audiology Master's students have started their education at our university. The availability of a master's program with a thesis provides an important contribution especially for students who want to advance in the academic field.
Our competent expert staff, who work in our faculty and also work with individuals with hearing and balance disorders, works to guide our students in both theoretical and practical fields.
