Masking Training in Audiology

The opening speech of our event, moderated by our student Sevinc Aymergen, a member of the Faculty of Health Sciences Audiology Club, Assist.Prof.Dr. Selva Zeren made it and left the floor to Specialist Audiologist Levent Küfeciler.
 
Specialist Audiologist Levent Küfeciler said that masking in Audiology, which many students see as a difficult and complex subject, should not be afraid. He stated that this was one of the first subjects he taught his students. Levent Küfeciler started his presentation by explaining the basic concepts of masking.
 
Explaining the masking criteria, Levent Küfeciler made explanations about the types of noise used in masking, occlusion effect, SAL test, masking in speech audiometry and masking dilemma.
 
Head of the Department of Audiology, Faculty of Health Sciences, Co-Head of the Department of Audiology, Research Assistants, our teachers from other departments, graduate and undergraduate students of our department as well as people from different schools and institutions related to the subject attended.

At the end of the presentation, which the audiology department students listened with interest and curiosity, the event ended with the thanks to the esteemed Specialist Audiologist Levent Küfeciler, from our teachers and students.
