“Using MAXQDA in Data Analysis” Training for Academics!

A training session titled “Using MAXQDA in Data Analysis” will be held for academics at Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) on Tuesday, October 27, 2026. Delivered by Dr. Burak Varol, a Certified MAXQDA Trainer, the session will provide both theoretical and practical insights into the fundamental features of MAXQDA and its applications in data analysis. Aiming to enhance academics’ knowledge and skills in using digital tools for data analysis, the training will consist of two sessions combining theoretical instruction with hands-on practice.
 
What Will the Training Cover?
 
The training will take place between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., beginning with an introduction to MAXQDA in the morning session. Participants will learn about the software’s purposes, interface, main windows, operating principles, and analytical tools. The session will also introduce AI-powered applications through MAXQDA AI Assist. The afternoon session will focus on practical exercises using a sample dataset. Participants will explore project file creation, data familiarization and coding, codebook development, examination of coded data, and data visualization techniques.
