Res. Asst. A. Mecid Vergül Served as Sector Evaluator in TURAK Accreditation at Mardin Artuklu University

Res. Asst. A. Mecid Vergül from our Department of Tourism Guidance has undertaken an important role within the quality assurance processes conducted by the Tourism Education Evaluation and Accreditation Board (TURAK). Res. Asst. Vergül served as a sector evaluator in the TURAK accreditation interim assessment for the Department of Tourism Guidance at Mardin Artuklu University between October 10 and 13, 2026.

Having been a licensed nationwide professional tour guide since 2017, Res. Asst. A. Mecid Vergül continues to bring his extensive field experience into academic quality assurance standards. In addition to his role as a sector evaluator, he actively serves as the Vice Coordinator of the TURAK Internationalization Committee.
