Faculty Members of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics Accepted to International COST Action Working Groups

Faculty members of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Faculty of Health Sciences, Istanbul Gelisim University, Prof. Dr. Arda OZTURKCAN, Assoc. Prof. Hatice Merve BAYRAM, and Asst. Prof. Gizem UZLU, have been accepted to international working groups within the framework of COST Action CA22134 – “Sustainable Network for Agrofood Loss and Waste Prevention, Management, Quantification and Valorisation (FoodWaStop)”, supported by the COST Association.

Within the scope of this Action, Prof. Dr. Arda OZTURKCAN has been appointed to Working Groups 1, 2, 3, and 5, while Assoc. Prof. Hatice Merve BAYRAM and Asst. Prof. Gizem UZLU have been appointed to Working Groups 1, 3, and 5.

In addition, Prof. Dr. Arda OZTURKCAN has also been accepted to Working Groups 1, 3, and 5 within COST Action CA24166 – “Pan-European Network for Inflammaging: A Multi-omics Integration Approach (INFLAMomx)”, also supported by the COST Association.

The participation of our faculty members in these international research networks is considered an important achievement that will strengthen the Department’s international scientific collaborations, enhance its research capacity, and contribute to multidisciplinary studies in emerging research fields.
